Ernesto
European artist Ernesto was born in Vienna, Austria. He began to create art as a teenager and is still inspired by his homeland, as well as by Tuscany and Venice where he spends a significant amount of time.
In 13 years he has completed 239 etchings. More important to Ernesto than quantity, however, is that his artwork is not work per se, but rather the language of ideas and emotions. He points to his internal thoughts and feelings as the largest influences on his work. "Experiences have given me the impetus to design, but the ideas and forms are expressions that radiate from within," he explains.
Watching Ernesto turn experience and emotion into art in his Salzburg studio is his self-proclaimed alter ego a stuffed raven.
Ernesto exhibits his art in galleries in Austria, Italy, Germany, Hungary and New York.
